MaineFolkMusic.com is published monthly on the world wide web, and launched in January 2008. The site is published and produced by Bob McKillop Music.
Bob McKillop moved to Portland, Maine late in 2003, and was immediately captivated by the city and its vibrant local music scene. He loves to meet, interview, and write profiles and reviews on Maine’s folk music artists, as well as songwriters and performers from around the country. His writing has appeared on The Portland Press Herald’s entertainment web page “MaineToday.com”, in the Maine Songwriters Association newsletter, and in the Portland Music Foundation's newsletter.
Bob is a songwriter who performs occasionally in and around Portland, either solo, or in cahoots with his friend Alan Dickson, in the acoustic duo “McKillop and Dickson”. Bob’s debut CD, "Portland Afternoon" was released in April of 2008.

We'd love to review each and every contribution of music that we receive! But alas, we cannot! We promise to listen to at least part of evertything we you send us! If you provide us with a means of doing so, we will return it to you; otherwise, we'll make sure it gets into the hands and ears of someone who will enjoy it!
